Does a bouncy castle use a lot of electricity?
NO
The good news is that despite the size of the blower and the loud sound it makes it doesn't require much electricity to run. It will cost approx. 16p per hour to run a medium size bounce castle blower. ... This calculations are based on UK average cost of electricity at 16p per kWh.
How windy is too windy for a bouncy castle?
No inflatable should be used in winds above 24 mph (38 kmph), which is Force 5 on the Beaufort Scale (small trees in leaf begin to sway)
Do bouncy castles need electricity?
YES
Bouncy Castles come with a powered inflator (or blower) on them. The most common type of 'blower' is electrically powered (240 volts). For this you will need to connect it to a power supply using an extension lead, so think about how far this will need to reach and possible trip hazards.
Can a bouncy castle go on stones?
NO
Bouncy castles, slides and other inflatable situated outdoors need to be on a reasonably flat grassy area (slight slopes are ok) so that they can be staked down. The area needs to be free of any sharp stones, objects, dog mess or excessive mud.
Can you put a bouncy castle up in the rain?
YES
Most of our bouncy castles have rain cover's / sun canopy's most bouncy castles can be used in very light rain a heavy rain it would not be safe to use. All electrics are for outdoor use and are ip44 plugs the blowers and plugs are also covered with a blower cover to help shield the blowers and electrics
Can you use bouncy castles indoors?
YES
Most of our bouncy castles and inflatables can be used indoors. Sand bags are used to hold the bouncy castle down. The only thing you may want to check is the height of your venue, as well as the width and length, to ensure the inflatable fits.
Are bouncy castles Safe?
YES
As with all play equipment there can be accidents. However this can be prevented if the bouncy castle has correct supervision. All Inflatables and soft play has to be supervised by an adult over the age of 18 at all times.
Can you have a bouncy castle in a public park?
YES
Having a bouncy castle in a Public Park requires permission from either Parks Victoria or from your local council. ... Some public parks may not have access to power. You will require a generator for the bouncy castle. This is something we do not provide
Can bouncy castles go on tarmac?
NO
We do not allow any of our inflatables on tarmac. This is because we can not anchor the castle down correctly.
